Pricing FAQ's
How do you prepare an estimate?
Estimating is hardly a science but there are a few constants. First, we rely on our years of experience and the many, varied projects we have worked on as a baseline. Second, we always assume problems, issues or changes will alter the scope or duration by at least 20%. We factor this in up front so that you have the most accurate and realistic estimate possible. Don't trust your lowest estimate, as we can guarantee the estimator hasn't done this for you. Be sure to ignore this piece of advice if we prepare the lowest estimate you receive.
How long is this estimate good for?
You are locked in at these rates for 90 days. After that time period we reserve the right to alter the rates, change the estimate or revoke the estimate because our scheduled availability has been fully booked.
Are these prices negotiable?
No, they are not. Our hourly rates are extremely fair. We do honest, quality work and our prices are not negotiable. We promise to work hard and provide you with an extremely high quality product. We will balance offshore resources and in-house developers to make sure you meet all of your goals on price, quality and timeline. What we will not do is offer discounts.
Why a deposit?
Some people are surprised that we ask for a minimum deposit of 10% to begin a project. When we tell you we have reserved our time for you and you agree to use our services then we have an obligation to one another. Deposits mean we can reserve your spot in line while honoring our commitments to you, our current and future clients and our employees and contractors. Deposits are an integral part of doing business in a custom development environment.
